Measurements

  • Japanese tofu 300 g (about 3 pieces)
  • Green bell pepper 120 g (1 medium)

Steps

  • Slice the carrot, cut the green pepper into thin pieces, and mince the scallion and garlic
  • Open the package of Japanese tofu and cut it into about 1 cm thick cylinders
  • Put starch on a flat plate, ready to coat the tofu
  • Gently place the tofu on the flour, coating both sides and the edges; do not coat too thick
  • Add 150 ml oil to a flat-bottomed pan, enough to cover more than half of the tofu; when the edges turn golden, flip and fry
  • When both sides are fried, remove and place on a clean plate for later
  • Pour 10-15 ml oil into a wok, add scallion and garlic, stir-fry until fragrant, then add green pepper, carrot, ham sausage, and black fungus
  • Add oyster sauce, light soy sauce, salt, chicken bouillon, white sugar, and ketchup
  • Stir-fry gently until the color is even

Notes
