Ingredients and Tools

  • Air-dried instant noodles / any brand of instant noodles (no seasoning packet needed)
  • sesame oil
  • ground pepper
  • dark soy sauce
  • salt

Measurements

  • Water 1 liter
  • Instant noodles 1 block
  • sesame oil 15ml
  • dark soy sauce 10 grams
  • salt 30 grams (optional, this 30g of salt will not be fully consumed)
  • ground pepper 10 grams
  • light soy sauce 5 grams (optional)

Steps

  • Pour water into the pot and bring to a boil (If you like Q弹 noodles, add 30 grams of salt to the water; noodles boiled in salted water will be more Q弹)
  • Add the instant noodles to the pot for 3 minutes (also refer to the cooking time for your current brand of instant noodles)
  • When the noodles start to loosen, you can start stirring so the noodles heat evenly
  • Drain the water and put the noodles into a bowl
  • Add sesame oil, dark soy sauce, ground pepper, and light soy sauce (optional) according to the measurements above
  • Mix evenly with chopsticks
  • A simple, money-saving lazy-person sesame oil mixed noodles is done
