Luosifen
Authentic luosifen is not smelly!
Ingredients and Tools
- One bag of packaged luosifen, which should include:
- Rice noodles
- Snail meat packet (may be in the seasoning packets)
- Soup base packet
- Pickled bamboo shoots packet, peanuts packet, tofu skin packet, wood ear mushroom packet, etc. ingredient packets
- Vinegar packet, chili oil, and other seasoning packets
- Tools
- Cooking pot
- Induction cooker/stove
- A pair of chopsticks
Measurements
- Based on personal experience, one bag of packaged luosifen is enough for one person for one meal (even though it looks like a big bag)
- Water 1L
Steps
- Add water to the pot and bring it to a boil
- Add the rice noodles and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring with chopsticks to prevent the noodles from sticking together
- Add the soup base packet, adjust to personal taste
- Add some of the ingredient packets, such as wood ear mushrooms, peanuts, and snail meat (these ingredients need to be cooked for a while to absorb flavor)
- Add the seasoning packets, adjust to personal taste
- Stir, then scoop out and put into a bowl
- Add the remaining ingredient packets, such as pickled bamboo shoots and tofu skin (these ingredients should not be soaked in the soup for too long)
- Enjoy the meal
Notes
- If you want chewier noodles, you can shorten the cooking time in step 2
