Meat and Egg Rice Bowl
Meat and egg rice bowl is suitable for a simple single-person dinner, and cooking takes about fifteen minutes.

- Cooked rice
- Eggs
- Ground meat
- Dark soy sauce
- Light soy sauce
- Vinegar
- Shallot oil (optional)
- Scallion
- Oil
- Sugar

- Cooked rice 240g
- Eggs 4
- Ground meat 300g
- Dark soy sauce 10ml
- Light soy sauce 25ml
- Vinegar 20ml
- Optional shallot oil 10g
- Scallion 10g
- Oil 30ml
- Sugar 15g
Steps
- Cook the rice. Typically use the measuring cup that comes with the rice; one cup of rice is 240g.
- Add 30ml oil to the pan.
- Add the ground meat and pan-fry over medium heat until both sides are lightly browned.
- Crack the eggs into the pan without beating them, then cover with a lid.
- Mix a bowl sauce: add the corresponding amounts from calculations of dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and shallot oil, and stir well.
- Open the lid, pour the bowl sauce into the pan, and wait three minutes.
- Turn off the heat and place the meat and eggs over the rice.
- Safety check and start eating the rice bowl.
Notes
- If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can add 10g sugar.
