Sesame Flatbread
Sesame flatbread, crispy outside and soft inside, simple and easy to make.

Ingredients and Tools
- Flour
- Yeast powder
- White sugar
- Thirteen-spice powder
- Cooking oil
- Warm water ( 40℃ )
Steps
- Dough: 300 g flour, 3 g yeast powder, 3 g white sugar, 180 g warm water, 20 g cooking oil, rest the dough for 10 minutes
- Oil paste: put 30 g flour, 2 g salt, 4 g thirteen-spice powder, 20 g cooking oil in a small bowl, mix well, then let it rest
- Make the breads: roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the prepared oil paste, roll up from one end, cut into 7 portions, fold in half, pinch the seam closed with the tiger's mouth, dip in water first then dip in white sesame, roll into small round cakes
- Pan-fry: preheat the electric griddle, pour in cool oil (cover the bottom with oil), put in the rolled cakes, brush a little oil on top of the cakes as well, spread evenly and cover with the lid, select the large-cake setting, and remove from the pan when you hear a ding
Notes
- If you don't have an electric griddle, you can also use a flat pan
