Stir-Fried Pork with Onion
Salty with a touch of sweetness, simple to make, and easy to end up eating an extra bowl of rice. Usually only takes 15 minutes to finish.
Ingredients and Tools

- ketchup
- sesame oil
Measurements
- Onion 1 (it is the star; if you like onion, you can add an extra half to one)
- Pork (250g)
- Garlic (3 cloves) Seasonings
- Cooking oil (15ml)
- Black pepper (1.25g)
- Soy sauce (30ml)
- Sugar (15g)
- Sesame oil (5ml)
- Ketchup (15ml)
- Cooking wine (15ml) Note: consider buying teaspoons and tablespoons to precisely measure the amounts.
Steps
- Slice the onion, prepare the pork and crush the garlic, and mix the seasonings above for later use.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of cooking oil into the wok (wait 10 seconds for the oil to heat up), add the pork.
- Stir-fry until the color changes, then add the garlic, stir-fry until fragrant, and remove for later use.
- In the same wok, add the onion and stir-fry for 3~4 minutes, then add the seasonings and stir to combine.
- Add the pork set aside and stir-fry until the pork is cooked.
- After the pork is cooked, stir-fry for another 1 or 2 minutes and then serve.
