Milk Tea
Milk tea is a simple, easy-to-make drink. Beginners can generally finish it in 30 minutes.
Ingredients and Tools
- Black tea bags (Lipton Yellow Label is recommended)
- Whole milk powder or evaporated milk
- Cup, such as a graduated cup, ceramic mug, or thermos
Measurements
- Black tea bags 2 (about 4g)
- Milk powder 11-12g
- Sugar 5-7g
Steps
- Put 2 black tea bags into a cup and add 180-200mL boiling water.
- Wait 20 - 30 minutes.
- Weigh 11-12g milk powder and 5-7g sugar, and add them separately to the liquid from the previous step.
- Stir evenly and drink.
Notes
- After adding boiling water, keep the inside of the cup warm as much as possible, for example by using a cup with a smaller opening or putting on a lid. If the temperature is low and measuring with a graduated cup may cool the boiling water before it is poured over the tea, you can skip using a graduated cup and estimate the volume directly.
- After the waiting time ends, you can lift or stir the tea bags to make the infusion more even. If you follow this guide's process and find issues or improvements, please submit an Issue or Pull request.
