Mojito Mojito
Mojito is a traditional Cuban highball cocktail.
Ingredients and Tools
- Crushed ice
- Chilled soda water
- Juicer
- Highball glass
- Muddler
Measurements
- One lime (cut into two halves)
- Five mint leaves
- Syrup 20ml
- Gold rum 45ml
- Blue Sky Original Vodka 10ml
Steps
- Cut one of the lime halves into small pieces, put into the highball glass, then muddle to release the juice;
- Use 3-4 mint leaves to rub along the rim of the glass, then put them into the glass;
- Add syrup 20ml;
- Add gold rum 45ml;
- Squeeze the remaining lime half and add the juice into the glass;
- Gently stir so the sugar/syrup is in a semi-mixed state;
- Add crushed ice into the glass until it fills 3/4;
- Add chilled soda water until it just covers the crushed ice;
- Stir with a twisting motion for half a minute;
- Top off the highball glass with crushed ice;
- Slap the remaining sprig of mint to wake it up, insert into the crushed ice for garnish.
