Fried Skewer Sauce

Fried skewer sauce, said to taste good even poured on socks, beginner-friendly, estimated time 10 minutes.

Ingredients and Tools

  • Dried chili powder (both coarse and fine)
  • Cumin powder
  • Pepper powder
  • Five-spice powder
  • Sichuan pepper powder
  • Thirteen-spice
  • Mala seasoning
  • White sesame

Measurements

  • Dried chili powder 60 g
  • Cumin powder 20 g
  • Pepper powder 10 g
  • Five-spice powder 15 g
  • Salt 20 g
  • Sichuan pepper powder 15 g
  • Chicken bouillon 8 g
  • Thirteen-spice 5 g
  • Mala seasoning 5 g
  • White sesame 30 g

Steps

  • Mix all ingredients in a container and stir evenly.
  • Heat oil in a pot; use enough oil to cover all the ingredients in the container.
  • Pour in the hot oil in three batches, 1/3 each time, while stirring.
  • Finally add sesame oil 10ml, light soy sauce 10ml, Sichuan pepper oil 10ml, oyster sauce 10ml.

Notes

  • The seasonings in the last step can be adjusted to your taste.
  • Do not pour in all the hot oil at once; it must be added in batches while stirring.
