Difficulty Updated 1/25/2026

Ingredients and Tools

  • Milk (pasteurized milk tastes better)
  • Oats
  • Egg

Measurements

  • 🥛 Milk 280ml/per
  • 🍳 Egg 1 piece/per
  • 🍚 Oats 40g/per Use the above conditions to calculate the planned ingredient ratios.

Steps

  • Pour the milk into a breakfast cup (cold is fine).
  • Prepare 200ml water. If it is direct drinking water, add oats directly; otherwise boil it and then add oats.
  • After the water boils for 2 minutes, the oats are cooked.
  • Scoop out the cooked oats and pour into the milk (try not to pour the oat-cooking water into the milk, it affects the taste). Quick oat cooking method
  • Replace the oats with quick-cooking oats.
  • Pour the milk into a container with quick-cooking oats and stir.
  • Put the mixture into the microwave.
  • Microwave on medium power for 4 minutes. Fried egg cooking method
  • Heat the pan, add a layer of oil, fry the egg when the oil is hot, 20s on each side, consider seasoning the base flavor (3g salt and pepper, optional).
  • Turn off the heat and plate. Basic cooking done in 3 minutes, the finished dish is all at room temperature, very easy to eat, generally finished in 2 minutes each time. > 🥑 Fruit and vegetables, soda crackers are better to eat together.

Notes

  • Because different microwaves have different power, the microwave power cannot be stated precisely.
  • It is not recommended that the mixture exceed 50% of the container capacity, otherwise it is very likely to overflow during heating.
  • It is not recommended to use a glass cup for cooking, for the same reason. If you follow this guide and find problems or improvements, please submit an Issue or Pull request.
