Boiled Corn

Ingredients and Tools
- Fresh corn
- A pot that can fit the corn
- Water
- Salt
- Sugar (optional)
Measurements
- One ear of corn with husk
- Water covering the corn by about half a finger segment
- When boiling the corn, start with light salt water, about 2 grams of salt plus 50ml of water
- Add or skip sugar according to taste (optional)
Steps
- Peel the fresh corn, keep part of the husk and put it into the pot
- Add water covering the corn by about half a finger segment, add salt and sugar
- After the water boils, turn to low heat, cover and continue boiling for 15-20 minutes, it's okay to boil the corn a bit longer.
- Drain the water after cooking, let cool and serve.
