Longan and Red Date Congee
Longan and red date congee, sweet. Nourishes blood and calms the mind, strengthens the brain and boosts intelligence, nourishes heart and spleen. Preparation time needs 70 minutes.

- Glutinous rice (or white rice)
- Red dates
- Longan

- Glutinous rice 100g
- Red dates 15 pieces
- Longan 15 pieces
Steps
- Remove longan flesh, rinse twice with clean water, place in a bowl and soak for 10 minutes
- Rinse red dates twice with clean water, place in a bowl and soak for 10 minutes
- Put glutinous rice into the rice cooker, rinse the rice twice with clean water, then add 2000ml water
- Add the longan and red dates to the rice cooker
- Turn on the rice cooker to cook rice mode; after 1 hour the congee is done
